Hi, I am from southern MN. My grandfathers name was Frank. I was told that his dad and brother moved here from Germany. His dad's brother moved and ended up in Idaho. I heard they had lots of kids' 16 or 18. Something like that! I have been told that most Engesser are related. I wish I would have gotten a more detailed info of my dad's family history before he died. If anybody knows anything send me an email.

Hello Engessers,
Happy New Year 2007.
It is interesting to see how many Engessers are in U.S.
My family is of the South of Germany and I know by my parents/grandparents that some Engessers went to America.
Would be nice to hear from others...
Cheers Klaus

Danny, I really enjoyed your 2005 Christmas Letter. It's great that you are doing things for your Grandma. You will learn more from your Grandma and Grandpa than any collage prof. You have a great townhouse. I'm happy for your brother and Brooke and their first wounderful daughter. We (Gloria and I) have 3 Granddaughters (Sarah 5, Gracie 3 and Ellie 1). They stopped at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville this year. They really enjoyed it even tho they did not see the Ghost Players. Have a very Merry Christmas and an outstanding 2006. Al T. hello, with the death of my father-in-law, Merlin E Engesser, last month, I have been looking again into the family name that I married into. I know that Merlin was born to a large family whose father was also from a large family, but since he and my mother-in-law were divorced when husband Mark was young, I have not had much interaction with the Engesser's of the Tracy and Balaton Minnesota regions.
I was suprised at how many sites were pulled up by just typing "Engesser" on the search line on my browser.

Do you have information on Field of Dreams Labor Day Festival with old time all star ball players coming to play, such as George Brett, Rollie Fingers, Steve Carlton? Is 1-800-443-8981 the number for tickets? Please reply on home page and I'll check back soon. 8-4-96

Hello, nice job on the DREAMS homepage. I visited the FIELD last summer, and loved it. I am however bummed, because I can't find a poster from the movie, you know, with the moon, the corn and Kevin standing there. Do you know how to get one? I am dying.

Really liked the recording of "the voice." I have a picture of my son and I sitting on the bleachers in front of the house at the field. We crossed a swollen Mississippi river to get there. Glad to see someone else who relates to this. Best wishes.
